Privacy notice
This notice explains how Levengarth handles the personal data of people who send us a CV or apply for a role through this site. Levengarth is a recruitment desk operated by Cloud Hikers Ltd.
Who we are
Cloud Hikers Ltd, trading as Levengarth, is the controller of your personal data. Registered office: 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. Company number 14644500. Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference [ICO registration]. If you have any question about this notice or your data, email recruitment@levengarth.com.
Who this covers
This notice is for candidates who send us a CV speculatively or apply to a specific role advertised by Levengarth.
What we collect
- The CV you send and everything in it: your name, contact details, work history, education, skills and anything else you choose to include.
- Your email address and mobile number, whether taken from your CV or given by you when we ask you to confirm them.
- Basic information created when you submit the form, such as the date and time of your submission.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your data to consider you for current and future roles, to produce a written read of your CV, to contact you about opportunities, and to confirm that the contact details we hold are genuinely yours.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in running a recruitment service and matching candidates to roles, and, where you send us a CV speculatively rather than applying to a specific role, your consent in choosing to submit it. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Automated analysis of your CV
When you submit a CV, an automated tool reads it and produces a summary and a score, so we can understand your experience quickly. This supports our team; it does not make any decision about you on its own. A person always decides whether to contact you or put you forward. If you would prefer a person to review the read, ask us and we will.
Confirming your details
Where we need to be sure of your email or mobile, we send a link to your email and a one-time code to your mobile. This is only to confirm we hold real, contactable details and to protect against misuse.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run our service. They process your data only on our instructions:
- Google, for secure storage of your CV and for email.
- Salesforce, for our candidate records.
- Anthropic, for the automated read of your CV.
- Twilio, for sending the one-time code to your mobile.
- n8n and Vercel, for workflow automation and hosting this site.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where your data is transferred abroad it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision. When we put you forward for a role we share relevant details with the client, with your knowledge. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep your CV and details for 24 months from your last contact with us, after which we delete or anonymise them, unless you ask us to keep them longer so we can consider you for future roles.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these, email recruitment@levengarth.com. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would ask you to raise it with us first so we can put it right.
